Confirming Orders – Orders placed via our website are accepted at the risk of the buyer. Where applicable, faxed, signed orders are considered as confirming orders and will be processed and delivered as such.
Terms of Payment -- All orders must be paid in full in advance of processing or delivery. Customers on open account are bound to the terms set forth by BarefootLane.com for their particular account. All accounts must be paid within net 30. Past due accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month, 18% per annum, service charge if these terms are not met. Accounts requiring collection proceedings are subject to the reimbursement to BarefootLane.com, court costs and legal fees incurred, in addition to the amount due on account plus service charges.
Shipment and Deliveries -- Unless otherwise stated, we will ship to a customer's designated shipping address anywhere in the contiguous United States using a freight carrier of our choice. Other terms apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and export orders.
Currently, all items shipping within the contiguous United States are shipped without shipping costs (exceptions for large or special orders may apply).
- Most items are customized and may take between 2-4 wks for delivery.
- Email confirmation will be sent when the item is shipped.
- Most Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail, with rates based on the non-taxable amount,
within the continental U.S. Other rates will be calculated on an individual basis at time of order.
- The displayed shipping costs are for shipments within the continental United States only.
Shipping costs for all orders shipped outside the continental United States will be re-calculated after the order is processed.
You will be contacted by email regarding the new shipping costs and given the opporunity to proceed with your order.
No payment will be processed until you confirm the new shipping costs.
- There are no shipping fees for Gift Certificates.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BarefootLane.com, BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGE, AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE FAILURE TO MAKE THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE, THE CORRECT SHIPMENT OF THE ORDER, OR DAMAGE TO MATERIAL IN TRANSIT.
Promised delivery dates and transit times are estimated only, and are subject to sources or carrier conditions beyond our control.
Damaged Shipment and Claims - ALL MERCHANDISE IS ACCEPTED BY THE FREIGHT CARRIER IN GOOD CONDITION. The freight carrier is responsible, per the terms of the Bill of Lading, to deliver the merchandise to you in the same good condition. All packaging has been inspected and approved by the freight carrier delivering the merchandise and therefore the responsibility for subsequent damage lies with the freight carrier, not BarefootLane.com. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon our tender of shipment to the freight carrier.
Before accepting merchandise from the carrier, you should inspect and note any loss or damage on the delivery receipt. If there is loss or damage, you should make a claim immediately with the freight carrier. If damage or loss is discovered after delivery, the freight carrier should be notified for an inspection of concealed damage as well as for instructions for filing a freight claim. Once claim procedures have been followed and we have been notified by the freight carrier of your claim, we will assist you in replacing your merchandise. In the event of damage, be sure to retain the entire outer shipping container and carton (and packing material) in which damaged goods were packed. The damaged merchandise must be in original container and in original outer carton when given to the carrier. Failure to make such claim shall constitute acceptance of the merchandise and a waiver of any defects, damages, errors or shortages.
Shortages or errors in shipment of orders should be noted on shipper form at time of receipt and reported to BarefootLane.com within 48 hours. Every effort will be made to make corrections and/or remedy in a timely fashion.
Returns and Order Cancellations - A buyer may not, except with our written consent, cancel any order for material which we have special ordered, processed or has already shipped.
Personalized products are non-returnable unless fault lies with BLB.
Refusal of Delivery - Refusing delivery does not waive our return policy. If you do refuse delivery of an order for any reason, you shall be responsible for original and return freight charges and applicable restock fees, usually 20%. Once material is received in resaleable condition, credit will be issued to you, less applicable fees mention herein.
